Westminster Choir presents a concert of music that explores the human experiences of beholding awe and wonder through sound.
This program features the music of Barber, Brahms, Pärt, and Whitbourn as well as the Stravinsky Four Russian Peasant Songs, conducted by first year graduate conducting student Gregory R. Nappa, and the graduate conducting recital of Benjamin Shively, who explores the Wonder of Devotion through Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms and "Meet Me Here" from Craig Hella Johnson's oratorio Considering Matthew Shepard.
Benjamin Shively is a candidate for the degree Master of Music in Choral Conducting. He is a student of James Jordan, Donald Nally, and Simon Carrington.
