Applications due April 15
One of the most important parts of a Rider education is the opportunity to independently pursue an issue, question, composition, or project under the advisement of knowledgeable faculty — but just as essential is the opportunity to present the results of that research or creative project in a public forum. ISCAP (Independent Scholarship & Creative Activities Presentations) Day provides an opportunity to celebrate student accomplishments by sharing all their hard work and creativity with an audience of friends, family, and the broader university community. All Rider students are invited to present their current or recent academic projects conducted within a classroom setting as well as those carried out in Independent Study (XXX-490). If you've been researching an interesting topic, working on a capstone or honors thesis, performing an ongoing experiment, making a film, composing a musical piece, or creating a work of art as part of your Rider education, ISCAP is the perfect setting to showcase your efforts, practice your presentation skills, and build your resume. Students can present their work as a poster or an oral presentation. The application deadline is Friday, April 15, 2016, at 3 p.m. Please download the application form at www.rider.edu/iscap and send the completed file to Dr. Gabriela Smalley at [email protected].
