Some of the region's most respected and recognized companies attended the fair to recruit students and alumni
More than 100 employers from around the region visited Rider University on Thursday, Oct. 5, for the Fall Career Fair, giving students and alumni in-person access to a diverse range of recruiters. The event packed the Student Recreation Center for three hours, as companies met and recruited students and alumni at all levels and from all majors for part-time jobs, internships and full-time opportunities. The many employers that were on campus included Church & Dwight Co., Bristol-Myers Squibb, Bloomberg, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, FedEx, WithumSmith and Brown and dozens of others across a diverse range of fields. Rider’s Career Services offered several resources to help prepare attendees for the event, including three consecutive days of “resume blitzes” that provided personal attention from career professionals who know how to best organize and present skills and experiences to potential employers. The University is dedicated to helping its students gain employment after graduation. Today, 91% of Rider graduates are employed or pursuing graduate studies within a year of graduating.
