Join PBL to learn about a healthier student lifestyle on Nov. 4
by Michelle Wood
All Rider students are encouraged to learn about how to take steps towards living a healthier life with the American Heart Association on National Eating Healthy Day on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Rider’s Phi Beta Lambda chapter, also known as Future Business Leaders of America, is teaming up with the American Heart Association to raise awareness of obtainable healthy lifestyle choices for college students. While it is easy to snack on high-calorie foods and indulge in a quick microwavable meal, National Eating Healthy Day provides students with information on how to make alternative, more heart-healthy decisions.
Megan Collins, RD, LDN ShopRite of Yardley Oxford Oaks Shopping Center, will present methods on how to successfully navigate throughout the dining hall and what snacks are tasty, but still good for you.
The National Eating Healthy Day celebration will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 4 in the SRC Hall of Fame at 7 p.m.
