Given the fact that COVID-19 is starting to shift to the endemic stage, we are announcing the retirement of our Resolved and Ready website and dashboard effective immediately. As previously announced, Campus Clear was taken offline at the end of May. Additionally, we will no longer offer contact tracing or COVID-19 case management services beginning with the fall semester. This means that employees will no longer be asked to report to Human Resources if they are COVID-19 positive beginning Sept. 1. For the duration of the summer, however, we are still providing that assistance so please reach out to Human Resources if you are COVID-19 positive.
We still maintain a COVID-19 informational page on our website with links to the NJ Department of Health (NJDOH) and CDC for guidance related to COVID-19 symptoms, vaccination, isolation, quarantine and other measures to help mitigate the spread of the virus. It is incumbent on each of us to take responsibility for our own health and to help mitigate spread given the resources at our disposal: vaccination, boosters, mask-wearing, NJDOH and CDC guidance, and symptom self-monitoring. We continue to require that students and employees monitor their symptoms, not come to campus or class if they are symptomatic and abide by NJDOH and/or CDC guidance for next steps before returning to campus or class. This is particularly important given the growing prevalence of more contagious Omicron variants that are currently circulating in our country and abroad. Future variants may also require increased vigilance; we will keep you posted as necessary.
The retirement of our Resolved and Ready plan also means that we no longer require completion of the COVID-19 specific assumption of risk forms for attendees of on-campus and off-campus Rider events. All other assumption of risk forms remain in effect. Additionally, it is important that we still make clear to guests and event participants that they should not attend any on-campus or off-campus Rider events when they are symptomatic or in quarantine and/or isolation due to COVID-19 guidance. Please refer them to our COVID-19 webpage for more information.
We appreciate your continued cooperation and wish you all the best for a healthy and happy summer!
