Submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination by August 1, 2021, to be considered
Dear Rider Bronc,
The deadline for you to submit your proof of COVID-19 vaccination is only 3 days away.
Three students who submit proof of at least the first dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine by the August 1 deadline will be selected to receive free tuition* for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters. This includes up to 15 undergraduate credits per semester, 9 graduate credits per semester, and 12 continuing education credits per semester.
Only students who have submitted proof of at least one dose of their COVID-19 vaccination by August 1, 2021 will be eligible to receive free tuition.**
If you’ve already uploaded your vaccine verification to the Healthy Broncs portal, there’s nothing more you need to do to be included.
Rider will randomly select and notify the three students (one undergraduate student, one graduate student and one continuing education student) from the pool of all eligible submissions on Thursday, August 5.
Vaccination is another significant step toward the return to the full university experience and a greater sense of normalcy for the Rider community. We look forward to seeing you in September.
Please direct questions to [email protected]. And complete your vaccine verification today.
Sincerely,
Gregory G. Dell’Omo, Ph.D.
Rider University President
*Excludes students who already receive grants, scholarships and/or discounts from federal, state and institutional financial aid that are equal to or exceed the cost of full tuition. Students who do not already receive full tuition will receive a grant, which will cover the difference between their current federal, state and institutional financial aid and the cost of full tuition.
**To be eligible for the free tuition, a student must have provided proof via the Healthy Broncs portal of at least the first of a 2-dose series of an authorized COVID-19 vaccination by August 1, 2021. Subsequently, proof of the second dose must be provided by September 1, 2021 before the grant will be credited to their account.
