Aug. 11, 2022, letter from the Rider University Collective Bargaining Team to faculty and staff
Dear Colleagues,
Our team has just completed two back-to-back days of negotiations with the AAUP discussing significant governance and non-economic issues. The parties have generally found common ground on many of these important matters.
It is our hope that we can reach a tentative agreement on these issues when we meet again next week so we can quickly pivot to economic issues.
It remains our intention to have an agreement in place by August 31, 2022.
Sincerely,
The Rider University Collective Bargaining Team
Matthew Stieglitz, Esq., Associate Provost & Legal Counsel for Academic Affairs
Dr. DonnaJean Fredeen, Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs
Dr. Eugene Kutcher, Dean of the Norm Brodsky College of Business
Robert Stoto, Vice President for Human Resources
