Students admitted are eligible to participate in program guaranteeing job or grad school
Rider University is currently accepting applications for spring 2022 and fall 2022. Students admitted to Rider can participate in Rider’s new Cranberry Investment program, which guarantees an entry-level job or placement in graduate or professional school within six months of graduation.
The program is available to undergraduate students who fulfill certain responsibilities. To reach the goal set forth by the Cranberry Investment, Rider will support current students, prior to graduation, by helping them to find internships, co-ops, field work and other professional opportunities.
“We are confident that a Rider education prepares students with the skills and experiences needed to secure a job after graduation or continue their education,” says Drew Aromando, vice president of enrollment management. “Rider specializes in helping students find their path and take full advantage of opportunities needed to stand out as they embark on their professional careers.”
At Rider, 99% of students receive Rider-funded scholarships and financial aid. Ten first-year students who are accepted to Rider for the fall 2022 semester will be selected as Trustee Scholars; they will receive full, four-year tuition scholarships. Applicants must apply for admission through Early Action and submit a Trustee Scholarship Essay by Nov. 15.
Recognized as an exemplary transfer school, Rider also annually awards full tuition for two years of full-time study to three community college graduates through the Transfer Trustee Scholarship. To be considered for the fall 2022 Transfer Trustee Scholarship, applicants must submit all application materials by Feb. 1, 2022.
Prospective students who complete their FAFSA and apply by the Early Action deadline of Nov. 15 will receive a decision and financial aid offer by Dec. 20. Rider is a test-optional institution, but students may submit testing scores with their application. Applicants can also use the Common App when applying to Rider to streamline the college application process.
Rider is open for campus visits. Those interested in Rider can schedule a campus tour, attend an upcoming open house or become a Rider Bronc for a day. The Bronc for a Day program can include attending a class in one’s intended major, spending time with a current Rider student, eating in the dining hall, taking a campus tour and talking with the admissions staff about goals. Those who attend three on-campus admissions events prior to enrolling on May 1, 2022, for the 2022–23 academic year will receive $1,000 toward textbooks.
Rider helps students unlock their potential and embrace their passions through more than 100 majors and minors. Admissions counselors are available to assist with the admissions process. They can be reached at [email protected]. To learn more about admissions, please visit rider.edu/admissions.
