Sept. 11, letter from the Rider University Collective Bargaining Team to faculty and staff
The Rider University Administration and the Rider University Chapter of AAUP have reached a tentative agreement on a five-year contract for its bargaining unit members, subject to ratification by the AAUP membership and the Rider University Board of Trustees.
Both the Administration and the AAUP leadership bargained in good faith and worked diligently over the past several months to address complex issues. We believe the parties were keenly aware of the needs of our students first and foremost, as well as all members of our university community.
The Administration is hopeful that our community can come together to continue building upon our shared future. We thank all members of both negotiating teams for their tireless efforts during this process.
