"I knew that Rider would give me a well-rounded business education," Mike said. "I’ve also discovered that many of the classes I took outside of my major have been useful since graduating." The location and the size of the university also were important factors in Mike’s overall decision to attend Rider.
Not only did Rider offer the personal attention of a small school, it gave me access to an outside network usually only found at much larger schools.

Rider's impact on Michael's career
"As a student, I took advantage of an independent study opportunity to work with leading strategic network design software for the supply chain industry. That experience exposed me to the supply chain systems industry, which led to an internship at WAM Systems between my junior and senior year," said Mike, who accepted a job at WAM immediately after graduation. "At WAM, I was able to apply the business skills I learned at Rider to real-world supply chain situations."
Continued success
"My summer internship at WAM was absolutely vital to being hired there full-time," Mike said. "I personally worked with clients, and helped implement WAM’S software internationally for one of the largest oil companies in the world."
In January 2013, WAM was acquired by Triple Point Technology, where Mike is now employed as a consultant, implementing supply chain planning software for international businesses.
