Program overview

Design and Technology Concentration: Students will bring productions to life with opportunities to work with industry professionals including directors, dancers and choreographers during participation in any of Rider’s 13 yearly productions. With this specialized experience, along with varied learning opportunities outside of the classroom, students will be well prepared to enter roles in the performing arts industry immediately after graduation or pursue graduate studies.

Program requirements

Design and technology students will prepare to become stand out, behind-the-scenes artists. They’ll learn from professionally active faculty, develop strong working relationships and have unique hands-on opportunities to exercise their learned skills, assume leadership positions and/or design roles, and valuable experience through participation in onstage productions.
