Welcome to the Virtual Market Fair

First-year students in the Norm Brodsky College of Business participate in the Business in Action program. As they learn and develop a foundational understanding of the business environment and business functions, students work in teams to develop and run a small business throughout the semester. They learn how to write a business plan and are provided funds to execute their plan.

Our student run businesses are listed below, click to learn more about their business and purchase products. Alternatively, you can visit the market fair in person on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center Atrium. Happy shopping!

Student-run businesses

Bronc Bling

Bronc Bling creates custom bracelets and necklaces, offering handmade designs with delivery. Customers can personalize items, and we plan to expand to keychains, hair beads, and more. We combine creativity with convenience in every piece.

Bronc Bundle

Rider Bronc Bundle creates special care for students and staff, with custom t-shirts, scarves, and bottles displaying Rider University logos. The bundles are perfect for the fall season, with lightweight, school spirited, coziness.

Bronc N' Chill

Two different sized Ice coolers that are 28 QT and 48 QT. Coolers are able to be decorated and personalized with stickers. The 32 oz ice pack and can openers are also nice additions!

Broncs Glassworx

The products we sell are fashionable but simple 16 oz. glass cups with our logo, as well as smaller glass candle holders with the our Broncs logo.

Cute stuffed animals that provide comfort and school spirit.

The Business in Action program is made possible thanks to the generous sponsorships of Rider alumni and friends. A portion of the teams’ profits are donated to charitable organizations that the students choose, and the other 50% is reinvested into the program to support future activities of the Business Living & Learning Community.
