Ensuring success for non-traditional learners

Beginning with the spring 2024 semester, qualifying new continuing education students and qualifying previous Rider students may receive financial support (based on need). Funds can be used toward non-tuition/fee related expenses such as childcare, transportation, technology and textbooks. This initiative is made possible thanks to our partner, the State of New Jersey, and the Some College, No Degree grant. In addition, you can take advantage of our low, per-credit tuition rate and may be eligible for financial aid or other tuition assistance.

Please note, all stipends over $600 are taxable. While you may receive a stipend over $600, please ensure you have funds available to cover the taxes. Additionally, if you receive technology support in the form of equipment (laptop, iPad, etc.) and do not enroll in your first semester at Rider, you will be required to return the equipment.
