Reserving Space
In order to reserve a space for a meeting or an event, there are scheduling procedures for Faculty and Staff, Students, and Community/Corporate Organizations.
Faculty and Staff
All requests for meeting space by Faculty and Staff must be submitted through the 25Live scheduling system. Please login using your Rider Key credentials to access the system. All requests for space must be submitted via the online system – meeting space cannot be reserved by calling the Scheduling Coordinator. Training sessions are available on how to use the 25Live scheduling system.
All requests for space use must be submitted online via 25Live at least 48 hours in advance and you must receive the email confirmation of your request before using the space. When requesting space outside of your scheduled class time, please include the course, course number and section in the Event Name when entering request information.
Students
Student leaders may request space on behalf of a recognized Rider Student Organization/Club by submitting a request through the 25Live scheduling system. Events must be approved by the Office of Campus Life; a confirmed event reservation is the first step in the event planning process.
If a student is required to use a space in conjunction with a class, the reservation request must be submitted by the faculty member or an administrator from their college, school or department via 25Live.
Students may not submit requests for space for individual use.
Community/Corporate Organizations
All external groups looking to reserve space on campus, must work with the Conference Services Office. For information on space availability, rates and event planning please contact Rider’s Associate Director of Conference Services at [email protected] or 609-896-5000, ext. 7337.
Scheduling Timeline
Space use requests must be submitted 2 days in advance. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend at least one-week notice for a meeting, and at least two-week notice for an event that requires set up.
Event Planning
Once you have received a reservation confirmation for your event, please contact the Event Coordinator at [email protected] for assistance with set up plans, room diagrams and event planning.
The Campus Event Planning webpage is a helpful resource designed to provide the information, campus contacts, and forms you need to plan your event.
