A letter from Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Fredeen
Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,
For the continued safety and wellbeing of our campus community, we are announcing today that all Summer II courses will be held online. As a reminder, the Summer II session runs from Monday, July 6, through Tuesday, August 18.
We have many means of support in place to assist our students and faculty during these periods of remote and alternative instruction. For resources, please visit rider.edu/coronavirus or email [email protected].
Rider offers a variety of summer courses regardless of your educational goals. Current and visiting students at the high school, undergraduate and graduate levels are welcome. Individuals looking for personal or professional development during this period of isolation will also find several enriching experiences. I encourage you to review the Summer course offerings on our website.
At this time, no decisions have been made regarding on-campus operations for the fall. We will continue to evaluate and follow federal and state guidance as we respond to the coronavirus pandemic and will communicate decisions as soon as we are able.
Recently, U.S. Senator Cory Booker asked us to share a Coronavirus Pandemic Resource Guide for New Jerseyans with our community. The guide, filled with comprehensive information for a variety of issues and questions, has been posted to our website.
I wish you and your loved ones continued health and safety.
Sincerely,
DonnaJean Fredeen, Ph.D.
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
