At the request of the Student Government Association, the Student Recreation Center Lobby, Atrium and Hall of Fame areas will be open as a 24-hour study lounge from April 29-May 13, 2019 (except for May 4-5, when the building will be closed during overnight hours because of the set up required for the Awards Convocation).
Overnight hours are designated as quiet time for studying. The game room, fitness center and courts will not be open. Restrooms will be available in the lobby of Alumni Gym.
The overnight study lounge area will be open to Rider students only.
The Student Recreation Center (SRC) will operate as usual during its normal hours (Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-midnight; Friday, 6:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-10:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m.-11:30 p.m.)
Starbucks will be open during usual café hours, and Gourmet Dining Services will provide coffee and water during overnight hours. Vending machines are always available.
Public Safety will monitor the area via cameras and make regular rounds throughout the night. Anyone not cooperating with plans for the quiet study environment will be asked to leave, and the University reserves the right to suspend the SRC 24-hour study lounge if these rules are not followed.
In case of emergency, contact Public Safety at 609-896-7777.
