Westminster Chamber Choir, Choral Festival Chorus and Chamber Orchestra Will Perform Friday, July 19
The Westminster Chamber Choir, the Westminster Summer Choral Festival Choir and the Westminster Festival Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Joe Miller, will perform G.F. Handel’s oratorio Israel in Egypt on Friday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the campus of Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton.
The Westminster Chamber Choir is a two-week auditioned program providing young professionals in the field of choral music an opportunity to perform and study the art of choral singing at the highest level. The Westminster Summer Choral Festival is a week-long program, open to all, focusing on the study and preparation of a major choral-orchestral work.
Founder of the Westminster Chamber Choir, Joe Miller is also conductor of two of America’s most renowned choral ensembles: the Westminster Choir and the Westminster Symphonic Choir. As conductor of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, Dr. Miller has collaborated with some of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors, earning him critical praise: “Joe Miller's Westminster Symphonic Choir was subtle when asked and powerful when turned loose,” The New York Times.
Admission for this performance is $15 for adults. They will be available at the door. To order in advance call 609-896-7775.
