Completed boxes can be dropped off in the BLC Cavalla Room on Nov. 19
The entire University community is encouraged to participate in the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please help make an area family’s Thanksgiving a little brighter by donating a meal, complete with a turkey and all the trimmings. Area agencies need over 300 meals for the Thanksgiving holiday. All offices, departments, groups, clubs/organizations, residence halls, Greek houses, teams, etc., are encouraged to donate at least one box this year for a local family in need.
A complete box consists of the following non-perishable goods:
• Juice
• Gravy
• Stuffing
• Instant Mashed Potatoes
• Canned Sweet Potatoes
• Cranberry Sauce
• Canned Vegetables
• Canned Fruit or Applesauce
• Rice
• Tuna
• Jelly
• Crackers
• Baked Beans
• Peanut Butter
• Pasta Products
• Spaghetti Sauce
• *$20 donation (check/cash) for the purchase of a Turkey and Pie
Donation checks (or cash) can be made payable to "Rider University" (Memo Line: Office of Campus Life │ $20 minimum) and should be included in a sealed envelope with a completed box. For more information about box contents, please contact the Office of Campus Life at 609-896-5327.
Packing boxes are provided from the Lawrenceville Campus Office of Campus Life in the Bart Luedeke Center or the Princeton Campus Dean of Students Office. Please use packing boxes for donations only, not laundry baskets. Boxes can be dropped off in the BLC Cavalla Room on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Don’t have time to get to the grocery store or can’t make it to campus for the drop-off date? No problem! A completed box is valued at approximately $50. If you’d still like to donate a food box to feed a family in need this holiday, please drop off or mail a $50 check (payable to: "Rider University" [Memo Line: Office of Campus Life]) to: Bart Luedeke Center, Rider University Office of Campus Life, 2083 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648-3099.
