Traffic pattern changes on the Lawrenceville campus Nov. 13

Rider Athletics will kick off the basketball season with a pre-game tailgate on the campus mall in front of Alumni Gym on Friday, November 13, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The event, co-hosted by Greek Life, SGA, Athletics, and University Advancement, precedes the men’s basketball game against Princeton at 7 p.m.  
To ensure pedestrian safety and a smooth traffic flow, the main entrance gate and North Mall Drive will be closed to incoming traffic from 5 to 7 p.m. South Mall Drive immediately in front of the SRC and Alumni Gym will be closed to exiting traffic from 5:15 to 7 p.m.  The main exit gate will remain open during that time.

Additionally that day and evening, a small portion of Alumni Drive (which runs between Alumni Gym and Daly's along Daly's field) will be closed from South Mall Drive to the Daly's parking lot entrance from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. to accommodate the ESPN broadcast trucks for the televised basketball game. The Daly's parking lot entrance from Alumni Drive will remain open during that time. Traffic can exit as usual on Friday along South Mall Drive via the main gate up until 5:15 p.m.  Thereafter until 7 p.m., cars can only exit campus via either the south gate or via the main gate by way of the Daly's parking lot.
