The annual Holidays at Westminster festival of holiday music is a seasonal tradition for many area music lovers. This year’s will festival will feature several of Westminster’s choirs and guest artists performing a wide array of holiday music.
Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 at 4 p.m., the Westminster Concert Bell Choir will present A Classical Christmas. Their program will include classical holiday works performed on the world’s largest range of handbells and Choirchime instruments.
Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12 at 8 p.m. , four of Westminster’s choirs, organist Daryl Robinson and Solid Brass, the renowned brass ensemble, will once again present An Evening of Readings and Carols in the grandeur of the Princeton University Chapel. They will be joined by the American Boychoir. This spectacular concert will include seasonal readings and the opportunity for the audience to join the artists in singing Christmas carols.
Saturday, December 12 at 2 p.m. Westminster will present An Afternoon of Readings and Carols. This matinee performance of the popular Evening of Readings and Carols program has been added in response to many requests for an additional performance of this spectacular program. It will feature general-admission open seating.
Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19 at 8 p.m. The Westminster Community Chorus, conducted by John Wilson, will present a concert titled Noel! A Celebration of Christmas in Word and Song. The program will feature holiday classics.
