All faculty members are encouraged to check out prospective study abroad programs
by Michelle Wood
Rider’s Center for International Education will host an International Program Development Luncheon for all faculty and staff on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
This informational session will educate the Rider community about the opportunities and benefits of short-term abroad programs. As there are two different types of short-term programs, the Center for International Education will discuss the processes, learning environments and values of including stand-alone and embedded study abroad programs in new areas of Rider's education.
The luncheon will also accommodate 12 University-approved program providers, which will enable discussions on what type of tours, bids and expeditions are available to a specific program. All faculty members are encouraged to attend to learn the opportunities for expanding educational reach within a Rider program.
The International Program Development luncheon will take place on Nov. 10 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge. To register, please visit the International Program Development Registration page or contact Sara Young-Singh at [email protected]
There are still available spots for the spring break Costa Rica and China programs for students who are interested in short-term study abroad programs.
