How Lexi Vernon '21 found her #HomeAtRider
“I chose Rider because I wanted to go to a college that would push me to break out of my comfort zone, since I’m an out-of-state student (Connecticut). I also loved how small the classes were so I knew I would always feel comfortable talking to professors. I knew Rider was the right fit for me the first time I took a tour of campus. I remember the campus being so beautiful and I enjoyed how close together everything was. My favorite Rider memory is getting the chance to study abroad for a full semester in Australia, in the fall of 2019. The @ridercie office was truly so helpful throughout the process and being able to explore another country and embrace myself in their cultural and school system is something that was truly so incredible! If I could give one piece of advice to anyone considering Rider it would be to make the most out of your time here! Get involved as much as you can and take advantage of all the opportunities Rider has to offer."
Lexi studied marketing and sports management at Rider. She served as a study abroad ambassador and as a Bronc For a Day coordinator for @rideruadmissions. She is also a sister of Alpha Xi Delta sorority.
