How Nick Foppiano found his #HomeAtRider: "I’m a very indecisive person when it comes to big decisions. I was between Rider and one other school and could not stop panicking over which to choose. During this process, I attended an admitted student day and was recommended the Bronc for a Day program. I was able to shadow classes, go to lunch with a current student and end the day by attending an ultimate frisbee practice of all things. I got in the car and on the way home I just had a really good feeling that I had found my home for the next four years. I think my favorite memory at Rider has to be attending the outdoor movies the school has put on for us. There is just something about sitting on a blanket outside with a bunch of other students that makes the school feel like a real community of people. My best piece of advice for someone considering Rider is to look at the school from different angles when making your decision. One tour of the school definitely won’t give you the full picture of what it is like to be a student here. Do the Bronc for a Day program, come to campus on a weekday, reach out to an organization! Being involved in the selection process will help make the decision just a little bit clearer, and hopefully you find that Rider is for you!" Nick is a senior majoring in marketing with a minor in event planning and production. He is a tour guide on campus @rideruadmissions, president of the Club Sports Council, vice president of @riderultimate and the vice president of club golf.
