Aug. 2, 2022, letter from the Rider University Collective Bargaining Team to faculty and staff
Dear colleagues,
Tomorrow we will meet with the AAUP leadership for our seventh negotiation session this summer. Last week we discussed the governance language in our contract and began discussions about the University’s health care proposal. We plan to continue those discussions tomorrow.
We also anticipate a response from the union about plans for additional bargaining sessions. This is something we have consistently requested from the beginning of this process, and we were pleased to learn that a renewed request last week for additional meetings was being taken under consideration by the AAUP.
As always, it remains our intention to have a new agreement in place by September 1, 2022.
Sincerely,
The Rider University Collective Bargaining Team

Dr. DonnaJean Fredeen, Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs
Dr. Eugene Kutcher, Dean of the Norm Brodsky College of Business
Robert Stoto, Vice President for Human Resources
