How Cait Hopkinson found her #HomeAtRider:
"I wanted to come to Rider because I knew I would feel as if I were part of a family due to the welcoming environment. If it wasn't for Rider, I would've never met 'my people' and some of my current best friends.
I first learned about the Norm Brodsky Business Concept Competition through my @rideruadmissions counselor. I was already taking an entrepreneurship class at my high school, so it seemed to be the perfect opportunity to put my idea to the test. My business concept was called Air Fried & Frosted. I came up with the idea because of my family's obsession with our air fryer and me and my friend's obsession with a local donut shop. Winning the competition meant a lot to me, I finally made myself proud and felt that I accomplished something great on my own."
Cait is a freshman @riderbusiness accounting major. She is also a member of @rider_club_volley, intramurals and Entrepreneurship Club. She is the 2022 winner of the Norm Brodsky Business Concept Competition. For her winning business idea, she won a full, four-year tuition scholarship to Rider.
