In addition to full-semester classes, Rider offers half-term classes. These are labeled with the parts of term PFA and PFB (for fall) and PSA and PSB (for spring). PFA and PSA classes run during the first 7 weeks of the semester, while PFB and PSB classes run during the second 7 weeks. Registration for these classes opens at the same time as for full-semester classes.
Rider also offers a small number of late-start classes. These are labeled with the parts of term LSF (for fall) and LSS (for spring). These run for 7 weeks during the second half of the semester, and registration opens about six weeks before the beginning of the late-start term.
